Green Blue Infrastructure and Landscape Design Associate
Tyler Grange is looking for a talented and purpose driven Landscape Architect with 8+ years of professional experience to lead our Green/Blue Infrastructure and Landscape Design. As Landscape Architects at TG, we approach each project by thinking creatively with a holistic, integrated process, to develop the best outcomes for nature and people. That includes nature-led design, green and blue infrastructure, multi-functional, adaptive and resilient designs for public green spaces, informed by an evidence-led approach and environmental sustainability principles. What you will do
We’re looking for a talented, creative and enthusiastic landscape architect, with proven leadership skills as well as experience running landscape design development projects, through LI/RIBA design stages within inter-disciplinary design teams. Our client base is varied with developments at all scales and all sectors, and is increasingly including clients that are delivering nature-based solutions, so an interest in this area is key. With our focus on green and blue infrastructure and designs with holistic environmental purpose, we would also love to hear from you about your interests and motivations for delivering projects for clients, which connect people and nature, incorporate co-benefits and ecosystems services, climate adaptive and resilient design strategies. Alongside this you will:
Support and mentor the existing landscape design and green infrastructure team
Plan workflows and report to TG’s operations director in terms of work pipeline and team financial performance
Work with our technical team to innovate our products and seek opportunities to deliver holistic design solutions alongside our other services
Produce and oversee design work as part of the team
Prepare green/blue infrastructure plans, landscape masterplans, graphics, design drawings tailored to different design stages
Prepare clear and concise reports, participating in team meetings, project reviews and team workshops
Carry out site surveys
What you will need:
A Landscape Architect with 8+ years of professional experience
Qualification to postgraduate / diploma level in Landscape Architecture (or related field of study)
Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent professional certification)
Experience leading and running landscape design and green infrastructure teams, including team management, operational management, mentoring team members, technical reviews and sign offs and contributing to professional development and learning across a team
Knowledge of the UK planning system
Acting as a project landscape architect, seeing projects through LI/RIBA design stages, from strategies, concepts and masterplanning to technical design.
Experienced in the tender process and experience on site during implementation
Excellent spatial design skills - confident in developing proposals within a design team and also enthusiastic about engaging with others’ designs.
Skills and insights in ecology, natural systems and ecosystems services and the wider context of sustainability and environmental design principles.
Experience in client-facing and design-team facing roles.
Understanding of inter-disciplinary inputs and how designs develop through stages and scales.
Strong graphic communication skills; proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and ideally Revit
A full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
Desirable but not essential:
Experience of masterplanning and urban design
Experience with the Building with Nature Accreditation for Green Infrastructure
Passion for plants, wildlife, trees, gardening and designing planting schemes which bring people into contact with natural processes, materials and the changing seasons

Salary: £52,040 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Pay points advertised currently reflect our 2025 salary banding. All pay points are reevaluated at the beginning of each year to consider inflation and other potential changes. Location: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol or Leeds. We operate a hybrid working model with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office - this can include on-site days.
