People Development Coordinator - Maternity Cover
Do you care deeply about learning, organisation and helping people do their best work? Tyler Grange, an award‑winning B Corp environmental consultancy, is looking for a People Development Coordinator to support the delivery of our training and professional development activity across the business.
This is a full‑time, fixed‑term maternity cover role, ideally suited to someone with hands‑on experience coordinating learning or training activity who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and care to people‑focused work.

We’re a B‑Corp environmental consultancy established in 2010, with a team of around 90 incredible humans spread across seven UK offices.

The Role
In this maternity cover role, you’ll play a key part in supporting learning and professional development across Tyler Grange. You’ll work closely with the People Team and our Technical Leads to coordinate training activity, support our internal learning academy and platform (The Growth Collective), and ensure learning opportunities are well organised, accessible and effective.
This role requires some experience coordinating learning, training or professional development activity. It is a coordination and support role ideal for someone who enjoys enabling others through strong organisation, communication and systems.
The role can be based in Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development Coordination
Coordinate a company‑wide training and events calendar
Work with Technical Leads to support an annual programme of learning aligned to business needs and CPD requirements
Organise and support in‑person and online training sessions, workshops and events
The Growth Collective (Learning Platform)
Maintain and update learning content and resources on The Growth Collective
Liaise with platform developers and internal teams as needed
Ensure training materials are well‑structured, accurate and aligned with brand and tone of voice
Administration & Records
Maintain accurate training and CPD records
Coordinate attendance, feedback and evaluation following training sessions
Support continuous improvement by reviewing learning effectiveness
Wider People & Recruitment Support
Monitor CPD requirements and updates from relevant professional bodies
Support colleagues with ongoing professional development activity
Work with the recruitment team to support learning and development‑focused attraction and onboarding initiatives
What We're Looking For
Essential
A passion for learning, improvement and people‑centred development
Some experience coordinating learning, training or professional development activity, including administration, scheduling or record‑keeping
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Exceptional organisation, planning and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices as needed
Desirable
Experience working in HR or People teams, or currently studying/holder of CIPD Level 3, 5 or 7
Experience using or supporting learning platforms, LMSs or digital learning tools
Strong confidence in using learning technology and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
Experience within environmental consultancy, professional services or a related sector
Confidence building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Contract & Practical Details
Contract: Full‑time, fixed‑term maternity cover
Contract dates: Approx. July 2026 – October 2027
(There may be flexibility to start earlier, and potential to extend the end date depending on business need)
Salary: £26,900 - £29,590 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester
